Startec Medizintechnik GmbH is the manufacturer of xelerate® training systems, and together with its sister-company Novotec Medical GmbH it produces and distributes training, therapy and diagnostik devices and systems. The product range covers Galileo® training and therapy devices, Leonardo Mechanograph® systems for muscle performance analysis and peripheral quantitative computed tomography (pQCT®) for analysis of muscles and bones. All systems are produced exclusively in Germany and are sold together with our partners world-wide.
The Stratec Medizintechnik GmbH was founded 1987 and is based in Pforzheim, southern Germany. It is a TÜV-certified medical device manufacturer. To guarantee highest quality all devices are developed and produced in Germany. Galileo Training and therapy devices celebrated their 20th anniversary in 2016.
The background for the development of all Stratec and Novotec products has been derived from the long history of research projects of the two sister companies Novotec Medical GmbH and Stratec Medizintechnik GmbH (a spin-off of the Stratec Elektronik GmbH which was founded in 1979).
The Close collaboration with many international research groups since over 30 years enables us to improve our products continuously.
